Let's see how long it takes you to do:

100 pull-ups
100 squats
100 push-ups
100 crunches

You can do it in any order but you cannot start another one until you have completed the one you are currently on!

Ready go!

I can only do like 2 pull ups and then I am done for the day... it would take me like 50 days just to get through the pull up part! Is it really possible for any one who is not a super strong person who is not a body builder to do 99 pull ups???

Can we substitute the pull ups part for something else for all of us who are not strong enough to do pull ups? Oh... I guess we could always use that gravitron machine thing huh? Is that legal to do?

Fine... I'll change the challenge... it'll no longer be mission impossible... it'll be mission very difficult!

1 pull-up
100 push-ups
1 pull-up
100 squats
1 pull-up
100 crunches
1 pull-up

We can even put an * category for modified push-ups if you want???

I believe very few men who have not trained pull ups would be able to complete even one pull up. I've heard this is the case.

The Royal Marines have a basic fitness standard which you must attain before you can even qualify to join and start training (there is a three day selection process)- whilst the push up and sit up numbers are quite high, I believe the pull up numbers are relatively low- only a minimum of six or so I think (though these are strict pull ups, no cheating, and done as part of a battery of fitness tests). I think this helps illustrate just how fit and strong you'd need to be (the Royal marines are considered one of our elite units) to complete 100 pull ups- even in groups of ten or so. With none of that silly 'kipping' nonsense, obviously.

I've recently added pull ups (or more accurately in my case, attempted pull ups), but with my 210lb or so, it's a steep learning curve. I've already taught myself the art of strict push ups, and have gone from being able to do none, to doing 15 or so at a time, usually I do five or six sets of ten.

As with all bodyweight exercises, the heavier you are, the harder it is initially, but it gets easier!

I suspect this challenge is a way off from my current levels- the pull ups are still a no-no, the rest I could do, but with the rest periods, it could take a while!

I also prefer full sit ups to crunches, though I'll do the latter from time to time.

I guess that is why this challenge is posted in the advanced category... because you have to be pretty darn advanced to be able to do that many pull ups! As a girl, pull ups are really hard for me. And I agree, unless you have been training your pull up muscles for a long time, they can be hard to do. Have you ever tried that machine that let's you do weight assisted pull ups? I think that is a great machine to use if you tyring to build your pull up muscles. It lets you do the pull ups for a weight less than what you weigh.
