But you freely can skip your meals without fear of starvation mode (of course if you are already underweight you should not skip meals). It's a common myth that if dont eat every 3 hour you body goes starvation. You can go easily 1 - 2 days per week with 24 hour without any calories. Or you can skip all you breakfast and take 16 hour fasting every day and your body Not goes starvation mode.
Skipping breakfast on a consistent basis is not good for your body. After sleeping all night and not eating during that time, you need fuel when you wake up to start the day. If you don't eat and have any fresh fuel (food), your body will go into starvation mode... meaning it will try and hang on to the fat that you have stored on your body because it thinks you are not getting the food you are supposed to be getting. You don't need to eat every 3 hours, and skipping lunch every now and then probably won't confuse your body, but breakfast is a very important meal not to skip.
