  • Dark Chocolate - 70 percent coco or higher real chocolate
  • Natural Peanut Butter
  • Guacamole

Foods that make your belly fat:
  • Cheese
  • Margarine
  • Red Wine

I like 2 of the 3 foods that make your belly flat... the peanut butter and the dark chocolate, however I also like 3 of the 3 foods that make your belly fat!!!! :oops:

The article I was reading said that low fat or no fat cheese is ok.
Also, about the red wine... it has sugar in it, it reduces your ability to burn off calories, and red wine increases your appetite.

Would it be the same if I just eat ripe avocados instead? I like avocados fresh but I usually always mix it with some milk and sugar and put in on the fridge. I know that doesn't sound belly-flattening.

I'm sure eating ripe avocados instead of guacamole would be even better since guacamole is mixed with other not so healthy stuff. But then you are right, adding your milk and sugar to the avocados doesn't make it as healthy anymore!

I think it's tough to go wrong with avocados. They're probably one of the healthiest foods around, packed with vitamins and minerals. I'm not a big fan of their taste, but if I were ever lost in the woods, I would want to be lost in woods that have avocados. :D

I want to share with you some other foods that are helpful for having a flat belly.
Flaxseed Oil
Avocados
Almonds
Dark or semi-sweet chocolate
Macadamia nuts.

Agreed! But if you change the marg for real butter you can take that off the list. Butter does have more calories but is much much better for your than marg which has almost nothing unprocessed in it.

I know it sounds like one of those things you hear about in your local pub but try this for yourself (takes 2 mins, and 2 weeks) Put a good chunk of marg (make sure it's not blended with butter.....pure marg) and the same of butter each on a small plate. Stick them in a quiet corner of your garage/shed and come back in two weeks. The telling fact is that most often the marg will not have any mold although may be melted, and most insects will have ignored it. Whereas the butter will be moldy and most likely have a lot more dead bugs on it. If nature ignores it so should we!! :)

The tub of butter I have in the refrigerator doesn't say margarine on it, I don't think. But I have a feeling it is not real butter either. I need to go check it out and if it is not real butter, I really should start buying only that.

I ate more than enough before I turned to the healthy side of my life. So, at this moment, I like eating anything that's healthy. I even eat raw veggies; I know that's gonna make you puke indeed :-)
