I have to have a little salt on my tots when I eat them, them but I don't eat them that often so it's ok. .... If I don't use the salt on the cookie sheet, I usually salt the tops of the tots before baking anyway... so either way, I'm gonna get my salt. ;)

So why can't you eat YOUR TOTS without ANY salt!?! :worried:

You would really be surprised how use to it you would get by eating them without the added salt. I don't put salt or butter on my bake potato, and at first, it was hard to eat it that way, but I am so use to it now, it really tastes yummy. Instead of the salt and butter, I put black pepper, and it's good.

I don't know, I guess I'm just used to it. I wonder if black pepper would taste funny on tots?!

Tater tots are almost non existent here, but if they were here, I'd eat them with black pepper.

I add no salt, but always use pepper. :D

Interesting. Maybe I'll give black pepper a try next time!

I've found that I like black pepper more as I get older. I don't like that "black dust" that some people call pepper though, I like the stuff you have to turn the cap of the bottle in order to grind before it comes out. :D

Me too!! I love the pepper you have to grind, and I don't like the "black dust" either. BTW... that's a good name for that, black dust!!!! That's the name they need to put on the container they sell... instead of Black Pepper.
