Water aerobic exercises are great for people who are pregnant, obese, recovering from injury, or are arthritic. Exercising in the water allows for movement that may be too painful or stressful on land. Water buoyancy reduces body weight by 90% so the stress on your body parts that you feel on land are very minimal in the water. Water aerobics are also great for older people who are afraid of maybe falling while exercising on land.
