Today's Workout - Alternative Elliptical

  • Warm up with 4 minutes at a steady pace.
  • After 4 minutes, set the resistance to 8 and do 4 strokes forward, then 4 strokes backward. Do this for 2 minutes.
  • Return back to your original steady pace for another 4 minutes.
  • After 4 minutes, set the resistance to 8 and do 4 strokes forward, then 4 strokes backward. Do this for 2 minutes.
  • Return back to your original steady pace for another 4 minutes.
  • After 4 minutes, set the resistance to 8 and do 4 strokes forward, then 4 strokes backward. Do this for 2 minutes.
  • Return back to your original steady pace for a final 2 minutes.

This completes a great alternative 20 minute elliptical workout. Every time you switch directions, you are working your core muscles to maintain balance.
