I had a bottle of minced garlic on the top shelf in the refrigerator. The lid must have unscrewed off just loose enough for some liquid to ooze out because when somebody accidentally knocked it over the garlic juice had spilled all down the side of the fridge. This made EVERYTHING in the refrigerator smell and taste like garlic for days after!!! I do not recommend spilling garlic juice in the refrigerator!

We bought a new baking soda fridge refresher to help get rid of the garlic smell, and it did help, but there is still a hint of garlic smell lingering around!

At first I was thinking about the cloves I have in my crisper drawer, then I had an aha! moment when you said minced.

I wonder how that would work out for a "dedicated marinating mini-fridge".
