Checkers Wings: Eating Out

Does anyone here have Checkers where they are ?
If you do, do they have the wings yet ?

Fair warning, they call the ones I had "Angry Buffalo" for a reason. They leave your mouth and lips burning before setting your heart on fire on their way to liquifying everything you ate earlier and setting your rearend on fire when they come out 2-3 hours later.

Drinking a small glass of milk to deal with the immediate burn, then swishing some vinegar around in my mouth to neutralize the burn long term, then brushing my teeth to get the horrid taste of vinegar out of my mouth, got rid of the burning mouth pretty fast.

Definately the last time I get those.

In college we had a male vabrato thing where we all went down to the local wing establishment and ordered the habenero wings and see who could eat the most wing before drinking water. I had gut rot for a week... couldn't keep much of anything down, was breaking out in cold sweats all night long after that and yes I too have had the feeling of fire down below! I can't do hot wings anymore, the smell even makes my stomach churn. I hope it doesn't last a week for you... did you have 32 of them too?

I've never heard of Checker's so I looked it up. We don't have any around here. I couldn't find the wings you were talking about on their website so I guess they haven't made it to the internet yet. Those sound hot though!

My Gosh!! Why would anyone want to go through all that suffering?!?! Must be a guy thing.

I got 10, ate 5, then ate the other five about an hour later.
I woke up twice to go to the rest room, it wasn't any better when I got out of bed either.

Definately the last time I get them, General Taos chicken/beef isn't even this bad.

It's not something I anticipated. I'm going to have to watch my spicy food intake a lot more, it seems to affect me more as I get older.

I noticed that spicy food is affecting me more too as I get older. I wonder if that is a trend. I would hate to try and do that again... I don't think I could make it through two of them!

Yes Ziggy, for us it was a guy thing... Get a bunch of guys in the same room and before you know it we'll try to eat anything!
