Those are some big goals ya got there! That's awesome! The trick is to set realistic short term goals that will eventually get you to your big one, your marathon/triathlon. Without knowing your current fitness level, I can't make any real recommendations about what is "realistic" but some general things would be to run X amount of miles in X amount of time by the end of the month. Keep setting progressive goals and, most importantly, track them. Those little successes can give you a big push.
