Today morning I squatted for the first time and while doing a warm up set of 110 lbs, I suddenly had a sharp pain on the way up. It was directly behind the knee cap and a little to the outside of the leg, so I put a knee brace on and tried again, but felt the pain again so I stopped. I tried squatting with no weight and the same pain, but when I tried after some rest without weight, there was no pain. I have no ideas what to do now. Can anyone help me on this topic?

Crouching and squatting usually affects muscles in the lower back and limbs. If, after crouching and squatting, you feel pain and weakness throughout your limbs, you are likely to realize that actually your body does not react well to this sort of physical movement. It may be a good idea to start doing less prolonged and vigorous exercise in this form, especially if your occupation involves sitting down all day.
