The dark circles start to show up around your eyes as you age because your skin is becoming more translucent and the blood vessels are showing through.

Did you know that you can reduce those dark circles under your eyes?

Creams containing these ingredients can help rebuild the skin around the eyes: Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, and Seramide.

Is that what the cucumber slices are for ?

Oranges are high in vitamin C, something tells me that putting slices of those on my eyes is a really bad idea though.

I heard that potatoes are a good source of vitamin C and work great to get rid of under the eye bags. Raw potato slices will help tighten baggy, puffy eyes. All you need is a potato and a knife. While lying down just place the potato slices on your eyelids and leave in place for at least 10 minutes.

I've had dark circles under my eyes since i was about 12. I think it's hereditary as my Mum has them too- perhaps we have thin skin there or something.

If I'm tired, they look ten times worse!

Sounds like you do have thin skin under your eyes. From what I read, it sounds like you can apply cream containing Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, and Seramide and it should help rebuild that skin and thicken it!

Right about now I'm thinking about throwing potatoes, cucumbers, oranges, and anything else I can find in the fridge with the vitamins mentioned in this thread into the food processor to mate a paste to put on my eyes before I got to bed.

I did have the thought of shredding some potatoes as soon as Tammy mentioned the potato slices though. those things are pretty rigid in slice form.

That's making me hungry! I wonder if you put that paste on in a tanning bed and baked for 15 minutes, what the mask would taste like?!?

I have some raw potatoes in my refrigerator, I'm thinking about slicing some up and having a relaxation session tomorrow with some potatoes on my eyes. :)
