Ever wonder what the contagious period of a cold is?

It is said to last from two days before the cold symptoms begin and up to three days after they appear. So after you've had the cold for 3 days you don't have to worry about getting other people sick anymore.

2 days before symptoms occur... that stinks... how would you know?!? I think I might try this on my boss one day: "Hey boss, I'm taking the next couple days off... no I'm not feeling bad but I passed by this guy with a cold and I don't want to take the chance of giving it to you guys... I know y'all are busy but I just don't want to risk it and ruin this beautiful week for you!"
