There are many ways to enjoy the sunshine of summer without damaging your skin. Some of the ways are listed below.
- Try to avoid reflections from water, glass, and sand
- Always apply sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher 15 minutes before going outside. Then don’t forget to reapply every 2 hours and/or after you go swimming and if you sweat a lot.
- Know you medications – some acne treatments and birth control pills can increase your sensitivity to the sun
- Don’t forget that you can still get a sunburn on a cloudy day.
