I enjoy the sour taste of chewable ascorbic acid tablets. I buy the no sugar, berry flavored 500mg tablets. I may take as many as 8 a day, and have been for probably a year. The dentist has yet to proclaim any ill-affect on my teeth, however I am concerned having low enamael already. I also am VERY senstive to pain, just a pinch or bump will cause an enormous pain sensation.
Could a lot of ascorbic acid alter the nervous system?
