Post subject: Exercise is interfering with my TV time!

I have had to devise a plan with myself due to the new season's tv shows. There are like 7 tv shows that really interest me right now, but I know that means a lot more inactivity for my body. I created a schedule that involves matching exercise for tv time and it seems to be working. I realized that I was sitting in front of the tv watching the shows before and after the show I wanted to watch just because I was there. I could take it or leave the others, but all I really wanted to watch was the show in the middle; i.e. "The Office" is the show I really like, but would watch "Parks and Rec" and "The Community" because it is easy to leave it on. I have decided to cut out the filler tv and realized I have a lot of extra time on my hands. I exercise, cook, play and socialize during that time now. I feel like it really improved my quality of life. I am not saying stop watching the tv shows that you really like... just the re-runs you've already seen and the not quite as good spin-offs of shows you used to love. You'd be surprised with how much time you find that you have to do productive, active endeavors.
