There are positive ways as well as negative ways to deal with stress. You should try and focus on the positive ways and avoid the negative ways.

Positive ways to deal with stress:
  • listen to music
  • garden
  • practice deep breathing
  • meditation and relaxation exercises
  • yoga

Negative ways to deal with stress:
  • putting yourself or someone else down by criticizing
  • biting of finger nails
  • showing aggression to another person
