I'm mostly carnivorous and only eat veggies once in a while not to mention I'm too choosy when it comes to that matter. Though I love eating fruits, it's not as much as I eat meat in my entire life. I'm aware that it may cause me gouts or cancers, but I can't find a way to stop that. I thought of veggie-meats for alternatives but they're somehow expensive at a little serving.

Yeah, it is funny how the things that are healthier for you always turn out to be more expensive!

Veggie-meats are not good to us carnivores!!!

I have introduced new veggies into my diet by mixing small amounts in with my meat... I will often grill some up and eat it with the meat...small amounts at first... almost to the point where I couldn't taste them and then slowly adding more and more... your taste buds get used to them and pretty soon they can dominate your plate as long as there is at least some meat on the plate!!!

I used to hate broccoli, squash, zucchini, onions... now I love them. I am currently working on bell pepper and tomato.

I've started mixing peas in with my macaroni and cheese. It works well. I used to not like peas because they're a hassle to eat when you have to chase them around the plate. :D

I like almost all food- I used to have a problem with curry, then after I signed up to do a trip to India, thought I'd best 'de-sensitize' myself before I went. I started eating Indian food once a week and started to love it. I still do.

One of my very few bugbears are chickpeas. I hate the things- okay if they're well hidden and mushed up in something, but if they're whole, then bleurgh. When I went to Canada and stayed with my cousin and his missus they ate quite a lot of them (they're both vegetarian), but i don't think I'd ever get used to them.

I think olives are awful too.

I eat peas, carrots, broccoli, onions, and squash whenever they're served. But I can't eat them without meat. Us Filipinos eat rice with meat or rice with veggies, but I do it like rice, meat, and a little serving of veggies (I mean tiny bits and pieces  )

I think the next unhealthiest of my habits I need to work on is skipping vegetables. I've been eating a lot of potatoes and meat lately without a good balance of vegetables.

Goodluck to us then! lol

The last time I had my blood test was for my uric acid. And the doctor said I should already be cutting down on meat. I just couldn't tell her, I can't. :haha:

Ha! I think peas are good to eat just by themselves, but I couldn't agree more about how they run away from me on the plate and how I have to trap them to be able to eat them!

My biggest un-healthy habit is unable to resist ice cream! I love ice cream.

Breaking Bad Habits should be among your top priorities to get the most out of your life. Good habits are hard to develop but easy to live with and "Bad habits are easy to develop but hard to live with." we don’t realize that we have bad habits. We think that we just live our life as usual while we are actually making mistakes again and again.

My most unhealthy habit at the moment is drinking alcohol. I've gotten to the point of blacking out a few times in the last few months. On the bright side, I've forced myself to take long walks to get home every time it's happened. I can easily cover 10+ miles without a second thought when I've been drinking.
