Does anybody have a chart listing how many calories a person should eat based on what gender they are and how old they are? Doesn't the "calories in" change depending on your age and sex?

You can search for some website that offers a tool that calculates calories on food you are going to eat. That could help you on choosing a right food for you. You have to ask your doctor about the calorie needs of your body.

The amount of calories one should get depends on a lot of factors - not just age and gender. It is targetted differently for each person, with physical activity, age, height, etc also taken into consideration. If you are looking for an accurate number of what you should be eating with a balanced workout regime, then I suggest talking with a doctor. Otherwise, simply search for a caloric intake calculator and there are tons of resources online. Trust the one that asks you for the most information before calculating it.
