I counted my calories few month ago about 2 weeks. It was very distressing. As soon i started i noticed that this food has this much calories and that has so much, so i can not eat that. And all the joy disappeared my eating. But it also opened my eye that i know better how much calories different foods and products have.
So my opinion is that if you're interested on weight loss, a leaner body etc; you should do at least 1 week period of counting calories. It could open you're eyes how much or how less calories some ingredients have. (but if you like to enjoy your food and weight loss is not a big issue, you should stop counting calories)
