Mushroom Magic
The article I was reading the other day said that mushrooms are pretty good for you.
Mushrooms are rich in disease-fighting phytochemicals, which safeguards against certain cancers.
Mushrooms supply nutrients such as selenium, copper, potassium, and other minerals.
Mushrooms retain their nutrients when stir-fried, grilled, or microwaved.
Mushrooms can help you cut calories, for example, by substituting them instead of ground beef in lasagna, chili, or sloppy joes.
The definition of a mushroom doesn't sound to appealing though...

Mushrooms in the Wild
There are a number of species of mushrooms that are toxic and/or poisonous, and eating them can produce severe and unpleasant symptoms, or be fatal. Eating mushrooms gathered in the wild is risky and should not be undertaken by individuals not knowledgeable in mushroom identification.
If you don't know one mushroom from the next, play it safe and buy them at your local gorcery store in the produce aisle.
