The United States Department of Agriculture, USDA, has approved four different types of milk according to the fat content. 'Whole milk' contains minimum 3.25% fat. In '1% Milk', fat level is reduced to 1-1.5%, while '2% Milk' may contain 2-2.5% fat. 'Fat free' milk may contain 0-0.5% fat. Skim milk contains Cholesterol, Proteins, Carbohydrates, Vitamin A, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Sodium, Potassium, Phosphorous, Riboflavin and Calcium. There is no fat content in it. Skim milk is the best option to drink and has replaced with soy milk.
