Preparing your meals with garlic and pepper may prevent overeating, according to a study presented at The Endocrine Society's annual meeting in San Francisco. Overweight people who added zero-calorie spices to their dishes dropped an average of 30 pounds in six months, compared with 2 pounds in the control group.

Garlic... first protecting from vampires... now helping you eat less... it is amazing!

I think spicy food has a similar effect. When you can't feel your mouth anymore, you stop eating ;)

Ha ha, I think that is true! I was with Ken when he had a dish so spicy that it did make him stop eating!

Anything that makes you drink more water is A-okay in my book! Beef a la sichuan from PF Changs... spiciest food I've ever been able to keep down! 8 glasses of water and a lot of rice helped!!!
