Spice Up Your Life
Spices like allspice, marjoram, mint, rosemary, cinnamon, oregano, cloves, sage, thyme, tarragon, and turmeric are good for us. They contain disease fighting phenols. So the next time you cook up a meal, spice it up!!

Don't keep spices longer than 2 years.
Keep spices in a cool, dark place, like in the cupboard, not on the countertop.

Really? Like all spices? I bought a spice rack a couple years ago for my new home when I moved in. There are still some spices on that rack that I haven't even used yet. And then for the ones that I have used, definitely none of them are empty yet! Am I supposed to replace them? What happens if you use spices after 2 years?

I think spices just lose their potency, and maybe their flavor after a couple of years. I don't think old spices will kill you or anything like that. lol. Guess the ones on your cupboard in your spice rack are now "just for show" like Y's Guy said.
