Anyone else heard about this professor who supposedly lost 27 pounds eating nothing but junk food?

I believe this guy for one reason. When I painted houses I pretty much lived on convenience store snacks and fast food. I was also very active, climbing on roofs and running around houses all day long. Today, I eat much healthier than I did back then. The food I eat these days is actually part of a known food group. I'm not as active as I used to be back then though, and I weigh more than I did back then.

I haven't heard of this guy. Sounds interesting though. Do you know what foods he was eating and how many calories they added up to? Was he being active while he was on the junk food diet???

The guy's eating Twinkies, potato chips, Nutter Butter cars. Pretty much anything you'll see on a shelf as an "impulse buy" at a convenience store.

Actually, right after I responding to this post, I saw a piece on the news about it! Pretty crazy, but he did say he was counting his calories so he was making sure not to eat too many calories. Also he said he was having some fruit and veggies mixed in with it as well as a multi-vitamin to make sure he was getting some nutrients.

Ah. I must have missed the part about the fruits and the multivitamin when it was on the news here.

Another thing I thought about, having gone all of those years living off junk, is that he very well could have pooped all of that weight off. That kind of stuff, well, goes right through you.
