If you try a new healthy food, please tell us about it. Was is good? How did you prepare it? What do you think it would go really good with? Will you eat it again?

Does fast food count?? I went to Taco Time and they made a mistake on my order and gave me a veggie soft taco instead. I tried it, and it was really good. I would definitely order it when I go to Taco Time again.

I just looked at the Taco Time menu online, and I couldn't find a veggie soft taco. Maybe it was called a veggie burrito, but I don't recall sunflower seeds being in it. I don't like sunflower seeds.

Veggie Burrito
A soft whole-wheat tortilla wrapped around refried pinto beans, seasoned rice, cheddar cheese, sour cream, lettuce, salsa fresca and roasted sunflower seeds. Big flavor in a big burrito.

My neighbor gave me some Activia Yogurt.
It's not bad. It's definitely one of those yogurts you have to stir up really really good before you eat though, unlike some yogurts that you can just quickly scrape the edge with the spoon once or twice then spin it around a few times.

I've tried Activia before. It's not bad, tastes okay, but I'd much rather have Tillamook any day! :) Activia is supposed to work good for your digestive system though.

I found a photo of the Veggie Burrito from Taco Time... it looks pretty good! I would have to say no sour cream though.

Then I guess the Veggie Burrito isn't what I had. Whatever I had, it had different kinds of beans in it, and corn I think, and sour cream, which was pretty good, considering I don't like sour cream. The Veggie Burrito does look pretty good.

I don't know if you guys have Publix where you are, but if you do you have to try the Orange-Berry Whole Grain Muffins, they're awesome. :D

Image

  • Every Publix Bakery Orange Berry Whole Grain Muffin is packed with 17 grams of whole grain.
  • You’ll get plenty of Omega 3 fish oil with every bite — 32 milligrams of DHA and EPA per muffin, in fact.
  • Sure, they’re nutritious. But they’re pretty tasty too thanks to quality ingredients, including dried cranberries, cherries and blueberries.

I'm with you, my usual yogurt is tastier than Activia too. :)

We don't have a Publix around here, but those muffins do look good! If I'm ever on the east side of the U.S. I'll have to keep Publix in mind.

Oh wow, I thought they were in more than just Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida.
But yeah, if you ever see a Publix grocery store and you've never been in one, you have to check out their Bakery and Deli. :D

I agree too, those Orange-Berry Whole Grain Muffins do look and sound really yummy. I bet they are full of fiber too. I wish I had a Publix in the area I live in. I wonder if they are sold anyplace else, or if a person could order them through the mail. Course then, they really wouldn't be fresh that way!!
