Hey, does anyone else like broccoli like I do?!?! I have to put a bit of fat free salad dressing on mine, though.

- I have read that broccoli is good for your body!
- Broccoli has 21 mg (milligrams) of calcium in just a 1/2 cup size.
- When you buy broccoli, look for bunches that are dark green in color. This indicates that the broccoli is of high nutrient value.
- Florets that are dark green, purplish, or bluish green contain more beta-carotene and vitamin C than paler or yellowing ones.
- Also, buy broccoli with stalks that are very firm. You don't want stalks that seem rubbery or bend, which are of poor quality. Don't buy broccoli with open, flowering, discolored, or water-soaked bud clusters with tough, woody stems.
- Put the broccoli in an open plastic bag, and put it in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator, unwashed.
- It is best if you eat the broccoli within a day or two after you buy it, and of course, wash it before you eat it.
