When we decide to gift for our kids , it is very necessary to consider the age of the kid, and what they already have got, which type of toy he or she love to play, and very important what the budget you have for a gift may be.

These days there are so many different toys are available for kids; few of them are very popular among boys and girls. With toys a kid always imagine, using his or her creativity and toys always help to develop this exceptional quality of imagination among children So this is very important to keep these things in our mind whenever we choose to gift any thing for our child.

It is very normal that Girls child are usually love to play with of dolls, teddies and they try to act out the activities of their day by day lives with these dolls. Girls would also love to have the entire cooking range, toys with refrigerator, tables, chairs and knife to cut vegetables.

Similarly, boys are loved to play with of so many different toys of their favorite cartoon characters or cars etc. This is not true that kids only admire these sleek looking toys but also enjoy playing with and maintaining them forever. Bicycles, swings and slides enthrall them. So, try to choose the correct toy or gift and help your kid to develop natural skills, at an early on years.

More important is to pay more attention to the quality of toys. In the newspaper, we have read some news that toys contained lead which is poisoning to children. So before buy toys, considerate every aspect.

I agree! Get your kid a gift that will set them up for success in the future. I think my two favorite gifts I ever got growing up was a ball and glove and a fishing pole. I guess I liked them because they kept on giving. Those gifts allowed my dad and I to share quality time for years down the road, playing catch in the backyard and talking while wading in the ocean for the occasional bite from a fish... I think you should chose something that you enjoy too... something that allows you to spend quality time with your kids... they will grow up fast and when they are old enough to enjoy doing stuff with on a peer level, you'll still be right up there with them... Whenever I go to visit my parents I can't wait to hit our favorite fishing spot!

Healthy toys for kids are very important. It is good for development of their brain. Shapes, colors and sounds should be present in a toy.

The greatest thing I had as a kid was a sturdy rope swing with a lot of room to swing. Out of every activity I've ever done, I've gotten more of a workout on that swing as a kid than I did doing anything else. The rope was probably about 25 feet long and an inch and a half in diameter.

With a board tied to the bottom to stand on it worked out everything from my feet to my butt big time pumping to get higher and higher, I'm sure it worked my arms as well, but the legs were the big thing for just trying to get as high as I could. Other than that, I would climb up towards the top of the rope and get a great arm workout doing that, even more so when someone else would be on the bottom swinging while I was holding on mid-rope with my arms.

It was great for balance as well. I would jump out of the tree it was tied to and see how many times I could spin before I got around to the other side of the tree. Once in awhile I would go for too many spins and knock the wind out of myself when I slammed into the tree, but most of the time I would get the timing well and land against the tree with my feet like a mountain climber. A lot of times I would just go for a single long spin where I would do a sort of a backflip type pause, then quickly spin the rest of the way right before I hit the tree. It was almost like flying.

I used to go out and swing on that rope every single day, nobody ever had to tell me to go outside and get some exercise. Of course, this was before they invented video games. lol
