Post subject: Getting Kids Excited To Exercise

I believe children need to be introduced at a very young age to the idea of exercise. It doesn't have to be running on a treadmill or lifting weights at the gym. It
shouldn't be something that might make them bored and turned off by the idea of exercise. It
should be something fun; something active. I believe starting at around age 2 to 3 parents should experiment with different types of sports and activities that their child might be good at or enjoy. Put them in swimming lessons, enroll them in soccer or basketball. When children start these sports young, they will learn to love them and won't be able to wait until the next time it is time to go outside and play... instead of putting up a fight because they'd rather sit on their butts in front of the TV or play video games.
Here are some examples of fun aerobic exercises kids can get excited for:
- basketball
- bicycling
- ice-skating
- in-line skating
- soccer
- swimming
- tennis
- walking
- hiking
- volleyball
- skiing
