There are a lot of benefits associated with lifting weights or resistance training that many people don't know about. The best performance is 8 to 12 repetitions at least three times before moving to another body part.

Weight lifting benefits:
  • Helps the muscles, ligaments, tendons, bones, and joints. There is greater elasticity and more fat is burned after lifting weights.
  • The more muscle volume that you have, the more fat the body will burn when resting.
  • Overall appearance is improved.
  • The heart is strengthened.
  • Bone density is increased. This can help prevent osteoporosis.
