Post subject: I get bored on a treadmill!!!

How do you make exercise fun?
I am the type of person that gets bored easily. I need variety! I could run on a treadmill for 30 minutes... I just do not like to.
I have found that doing the workout with a friend has helped me to be more consistent and it seems less boring. Even when we don't talk because I'm out of breath... it's still good to know that they are.
Exercise classes are also a great way to break up the rut that I get in sometimes... give me some fresh ideas... meet new people... I totally do the exercise classes for the social element and get in shape as a side effect!
What do you do to keep it fresh and new? I'm always looking for new ideas... I live in Tacoma... not a lot of opportunity to escape outside due to rain!!!
