Well look at Jillian's team again... She has the edge again this year. Bob can't catch a break. He has the 3 lowest returning players and Jillian has the 3 best. I thought the game was going to be between Mike and Tara and Sione but now I think it's going to just be between Mike and Tara... I don't think Bob's team has a chance; the only one on Bob's team I thought would make it to the end was Kristin and the only reason she didn't go home last week was because another player had a stress fracture in her hip.

Better luck next year Bob!

I would like to see at the results show, how Mike's brother is doing after Dan and Mike go home to work out. I really want to see if he starts working out with them or gets discouraged because of the head start they were given while being on the show. I think it will be a very interesting dynamic.

I want to see the Biggest Loser invite Mike's little brother to be on the show next season! I feel for him. His dad and his big brother are both getting incredible help and I know he can't help but feel jealous and wish he had that too. Mike and his dad talk about helping him when they get home so I really hope they do and I hope he can accomplish what they both have.

I can't believe Mike and Ron made it all the way to the final 4 without their team being broken up! Mike sure is confident about being the next Biggest Loser champion. We are getting down to the end. Soon we will see if Mike can do it. I hope he does. It makes me glad to see that as an 18 year old he was able to get his life back and lose all the weight that he has. I hope he is able to keep it off so he can live a long and healthy life.

I wonder who is going to make the finals? Ron made it this far, but I don't know how he will do at home. I think he might not try as hard just to insure that Mike makes the final. I think the brown team played the game great! Ron was never a threat so no one ever voted him off. Now with two votes in the bag Brown team is in the driver's seat. I wonder how Tara will do at home too, she seems like the type of person to go all out when it is right in front of her. I will enjoy seeing her try to handle the distractions in the real world... it seems like people who are going 100 mph are the ones that burn out fast. I hope they all find a pace they can stick with for the rest of their lives.

Well, the Season Finale for the Biggest Loser Season 7 happened last night for a whole 3 hours! The final 3 came down to Mike, Helen, and Tara. The final 3 results were super close as they all lost over 50% of their body weight. Helen Phillips was the overall winner losing about 55% of her original body weight! Helen lost a total of 140 pounds and currently weighs 117 pounds!

Check out the winning moments on this video!

Attached are Helen's after and before pictures.

I was much more impressed with Jerry, the 64 year old man who was booted off on the second week. He lost 47% of his body weight and did it at home! He is 64... No one can ever say I'm too old to get into shape... he actually had muscle and everything.

I thought Mike looked the best out of the three finalists followed by Tara. Helen looked way too skinny. I think she was doing it for the money. I think Mike got something so much more out of it. He's 18 and now has his whole in shape life ahead of him. That really warms my heart. He could have been fat and miserable his entire life, but now has a chance to live life they way it should be!

I think they should do a biggest loser - kids. I think they should get them when they are 13 and 14 and see what a difference they can make in kids lives. In an era where a child's life expectancy is projected to be shorter than their parents, we need something. I think a show like that might make our society put more importance on fitness and maybe we'd live longer, healthier, happier lives and quit the trends of childhood obesity and cutting PE from our schools!

I recently saw the UK version on TV one afternoon after finishing a workout. I found it interesting, but can't say it'd ever become a must-watch for me.

There's only been three series here, based on the US format I believe - 2005, 2006 and then a gap until 2009, and that's a daytime show, but don't know if the previous two were prime time. Daytime TV is usually a fair indicator of something being not too popular, so I guess it never caught on in a big way.

Saying that, viewing figures for the latest series of Big brother (9 or 10) have hit an all-time low, yet they keep churning that out... :(

I think we in the U.S. like it because obesity is such a problem for us that everyone knows at least on person who could go on the show and we want to see hope for them. I see amazing transformations within weeks for what took me two years to accomplish. I like getting ideas for different workouts too. Plus it's good tv drama... I always root for the younger people on the show... I can only imagine how much their lives will forever be changed due to that show... I think it's cool!

I really love to see the transformations... the before and after pictures! By the time they are done, they look like different people!

No kidding... the Helen Before and the Helen After photos don't even look like the same person.

Are you sure that's the same person?? Did you watch that episode and see her transform into the Helen After with your own eyes?

The Helen Before and the Helen After photos look like photos they would use in advertisements to promote a product, using two different people with the before and after results, tricking you into believing their product works.

Yeah! I wish they did more follow ups from all of the contestants... I think it's important to see the successes and failures... I think it would make it better to see that people can do it but need to focus because even if you can, which most do, if you don't stick with it you can fall right back into being fat even though they could do it.

How do you think he will do? It will be hard for him because he will not have the easy initial weight to lose... he might hit the wall faster than everone else!
