A great way to stay motivated when working out is to chart your progress. When you see how much you improve, you'll want to keep it up!

Seeing improvements can boost your exercise motivation... whether it is in improved time on a run, increased reps on an exercise, or greater frequency of workouts!

Some ideas on what to record are what exercises you do (keep track of reps/time), how you feel after wards, and what you eat.

When charting your progress, you can also include specific, realistic goals and deadlines for reaching them.

I've added a free workout log tracker to the left menu under "Health Tools." With this log you are able to print it out and have a place to keep track of your progress!

Here is the link to the workout log:

Good idea! I think this could be a great way to help keep people motivated and accountable. I love the concept of changing your measurement of success from weight to routine, especially in the beginning. People will not get discouraged in the initial weeks and build on success if they are putting in the time. The endgame of being healthier and feeling better about yourself seems more attainable if you take the emphasis of your weight and put it on something you can control easier, your routine!
