So I thought I would get serious about this workout thing!

I forgot to log my stuff for the two last weeks so I'll do it now and try to stay current.

Mon. Jan. 5th

Started out with doing 7 minutes, the dog did 10 :)

Tues. Jan. 6th

10 minutes of walking with the family

Wed. Jan 7th

10 minutes of waliking with the dog, the dog did 12

Bonus:

Thur. Jan 8th

10 minutes with my son Mark at a faster pace than normal, I started to sweat!

Monday Jan. 12th

too cold!

Tues Jan 13th

still too cold

Wed. Jan 14th

10 minutes of walking at a good pace with the dog, he was panting at the end of the walk; so was I!

Thur Jan 15th

10 minutes of walking with the family

Fri. Jan 16th

too cold so I went and bought a sit down exercise bike to put in the house so I cannot use that excuse again!

15 minutes on the bike and man was I building up a sweat!

Sat. & Sun. / Jan 17th & 18th

legs were so tired

Mon. Jan 19th

Walked 10 minutes with the dog and did 10 minutes on the bike

Tues. Jan 20th

Took the day off of work to watch Obama become President... I know that if a black man can become president... another black man can lose 90 lbs.

20 minutes on the bike so far... who knows where I'll end up today... I am pumped!

Sat. Jan 24th

Walked the dog and jogged with the dog. We alternated blocks walking and jogging. Did that for about 15 minutes. I was plum tuckered out after that. It felt good.

Sun. Jan 25th

Walked to Church instead of drove, about a mile and 1/2

Monday Jan 26th

My feet are hurting, next time not going to walk in dress shoes that far. Might ride the bike when I get in from work.

Tues. Jan 27th

I tried the post about interval training. I only got through 7 minutes worth and then muddled through 8 minutes at a slow pace. That is hard!

Wed. Jan 28th

Took the dog out for a power walk for 25 minutes

Thurs. Jan 29th

My mother watched the kids and I took my wife out on a date. It was our first night alone in about 4 months. As I stared into my wife's eyes my heart raced. Does that count as a work out? If not does that score points with my wife if she reads this ;) !

Fri. Jan 30th

It was a beautiful day so we all went out to the park and I took the hockey gear and Mark and I ran around hitting it back and forth for about 30 minutes and then we all went to the playground

Sat. Jan 31st

I have been doing errends all morning but I thought to park further out in the parking lot to get more exercise walking, I call it the Wal Mart walkercise. Today and tomorrow are going to be really cramped on time, I don't know how much exercise I'll be able to do.

Sun, Feb 1st

I completed my first interval training. It lasted 15 minutes and I was exhausted.

Monday, Feb 2nd

I jogged with Mark when I got home from work. I can't believe I actually jogged the entire time. We stayed out for about 25 minutes.

Tuesday, Feb 3rd

I took the day off to recover.

Wednesday, Feb 4th

I did 30 minutes on the bike and I took the dog out for a 15 minute walk.

Hi Junior,

I'm curious... what did you do for your interval training this past Sunday?

On Sunday, I walked a block then ran a block as fast as I could. It wasn't blazing speed but it was a sprint for me. I did a lot better than I thought I would. By the time I was done, I was sweating like a pig. It was a great workout! And I have done another one since then!

Thur, Feb 5th

30 minutes on the bike while watching tv

Fri, Feb 6th

Mark and I did an interval training together. I ran/walked with my son and he got tired and whiney. It works! I think I am getting into a better shape!

Sat, Feb 7th

Took the day off

Sun, Feb 8th

We walked to church; this time we brought walking shoes and changed before walking into the church
