Here's the vitamins I have in my medicine cabinet. I don't remember to take them every day, but when I do I take 1 of everything except Cranberry and Calcium, which I take 2 of. The Cranberry bottle says to take 2-3 of them 2-3 times a day, that's not going to happen with me though, I'm lucky to remember to take them once a day. lol

My momma has had me taking vitamins since I can remember. She still gets them for me, which is nice, because I'd probably completely forget about them if she didn't. :D

You don't have a multivitamin in your cabinet? Or is the A-Z bottle the multi? That's one that I make sure I take everyday. I have a problem not remembering and/or being too lazy to unscrew the top of the bottle so I use one of those weekly vitamin holder things to put all that I take sorted out per day in the holder. It makes it easy to just go in and dump them all out at once rather than have to unscrew all of the bottles of vitamins that I take.

What does taking a Cranberry supplement do for you?

Attached is a photo of the vitamin holder I was talking about and then a photo of the basics of the vitamins in my cabinet.

Yep, A-Z is the multi. :)
I think cranberry is for the bladder, or healthy poop, I forget which.
Ok I looked at the bottle and it says urinary tract, so bladder.

Those pill holders are awesome, I remember being a kid and seeing my grandparents holders like those laying on the window sill in the kitchen. I think my mom uses one too. I get tired of filling them up.

I think I need to build some sort of contraption that I can push a button on and it will dump everything I need into a cup. A contraption that I just need to dump the entire bottles into chambers.

Then again I'm probably going overboard. I should just get one of those holders and leave it next to my cups so I remember them when I get a drink.

I get tired of filling them up too. After it runs out I tend to go a few days without taking my vitamins because I'm too lazy to get it filled back up again!

Let me know if you ever build that contraption, I might be interested in it too!!! :)

It's always worth remembering that taking too many vitamin supplements is actually detrimental to health. If you're taking a multivit, I'd lay off taking separate supplements too (should you be doing that). At best you're creating very expensive urine.

I personally take a multivit and a cod liver oil capsule (the fish oil is good for joints, I understand, and with arthritis in the family, it can't hurt!). I also take a couple of dessicated liver pills every day, but that's an amino acid thing if I'm working hard on the kettlebells. The extra iron is good too (though Guinness will serve that puropse admirably!).

That's true. You don't want to be taking hundreds of vitamin supplements just for the sake of taking supplements. It is always better to get your vitamins from food anyway. The separate supplements I take apart from my multi are not included in my multi. Well, Calcium is, but as a woman we need to be taking Calcium twice a day because we cannot absorb all of the amount we need per day at one time. We have to break it up in order to avoid getting osteoporosis.

I just took a look at my A-Z bottle and the extra bottles I have are also the ones with low values in the multi.
